Through innovative research on governance issues, IGOPP raises discussions and spins ideas; its position papers also contribute to its recognition in the business communities on governance issues.

An ongoing concern for value creation :
The next few years will be crucial in order to anchor good governance practices to a value creating process. Well beyond fiduciary governance, the governance of the next decade will be rooted in not only values but also optimized strategic and financial management. A true challenge will lie in properly calibrating the performance, compensation and fairness trio. This process certainly rests on the competence of directors, but also their credibility and their legitimacy.
